7 things to know about me

They say a picture’s worth a thousand words. Not always: words are a passion of mine. But to tell you that I’m the best sidekick and the one you want by your side when your business is on the line, all it takes is a few moments captured in time. And hey! Should it come to that, I can also save your life: I’m a bona fide first aider!

Believe You Can Fly

At 16, I was offered to take my private pilot’s licence through a selective exam. I did it just to prove I could. But truly, there’s nothing more exhilarating than flying solo.

Thriving in Otherness

I’m something of a focused wanderer. My soul needs to travel and mingle with other cultures and new people. I was in awe at the sight of hidden waterfalls in the Highlands, mesmerized by the glaciers of Norway and Istanbul stole my heart. The world is my playground.

Rome, What Else?

I lived in Rome for a full year. There, I obtained a master’s degree in international relations, worked for a local radio station and had a lot of pasta and wine.

I’m a Bit of a Historical Nerd. So What!

One of the best experiences of my life: launching a podcast about the great characters who have marked history and, sometimes inadvertently, have influenced our business practices to this day.

Golf or boating: Why choose?

Nature always recharges my batteries. I play golf, sailing, hiking in the wilderness: I believe balance is the key to success and you won’t find many activities that provide more mind cleansing than meditative sports.

The Art of War

I’ve studied DDay and the Battle of Normandy for many years. Not that I’m immensely fond of blood and tears. However I find that this great moment in history especially apply to modern business:

  • Agility: Allies deployed and built a strategic and sprawling system that they managed to keep secret for several months.
  • Togetherness: for the first time in history, Allies managed to unite all the branches of the military in a single operation.
  • Ultimate Drive: they knew what they had to do and they did it, no matter the – huge-cost for themselves.

Human First

In France, I’ve been involved with humanitarian associations for many years. I learned a lot about the human factor. And it taught me a lasting lesson: a monthly 10 euros donation costs the price of a pack of cigarettes. However, do not try to use it as leverage to persuade someone to give money to charity: the shame game never works. Which translates very well into marketing: don’t blame the customer!

Curiosity is the most beautiful gift life has offered me so far. It has expanded my ability to think, create and wonder. It’s what I delight in, and what leads me to new projects, new clients and new adventures: Wanna come on board with me?
